Tourist visa for my brazilian wife

I'm American and married my Brazilian girlfriend about 6 months ago here in Brazil. I now have permanent residency in Brazil. We would like to go visit my parents who live in Tampa but we are afraid she may get denied her tourist visa. She has been denied once already about a year ago, what do you think her chances are now? Thanks!!

Now being married to a US citizen, her chances are probably less.

What ties does she- and you-have to Brazil? Ie good jobs, kids left behind etc?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Why was she denied and what has changed?

She didn't have much holding her down here before. And yeah I guess it's worth a shot...would joint bank accounts in Brazil make a difference you think?

When there is a USC husband, his ties to the foreign country can be almost as important as the tourist visa applicant.

So for example if you have a good job there, or are enrolled in uni or whatever, make sure to show that.
