Timeline

Sending the form soon, but wanted to know what is the time frame until you have to take that test, so I can start studying now or later, and how that works? Do they send you a date for the test, is on a computer?

K1 Visa

I-129F Sent : 6/28/10

I-129F NOA1 : 7/7/10

I-129F NOA2 : 10/29/10

NVC Received : 11/4/10

Packet 3 Sent : 11/29/10

Visa Received : 1/4/11 !!!!!

US Entry : 1/17/11

Marriage : 1/21/11

AOS package sent: 1/24/11

EAD and advanced parole 3/22/11

Interview date 5/16/11

APPROVED!!!!

It's not just a test - it's an interview, test is part of it and is done in person - interviewing officer will ask you questions. You will get a appointment notice and check out timelines for your field office to find out how much time you're going to have.

Great video,where did you get it.

Go to YouTube and search for Naturalization Interview or Naturalization Ceremony or N400 Application.

There are lots of videos that can be helpful, but make sure that:

-The video you are watching is for the USA (there are sample interview videos for Canada, the UK, Australia, etc.)

-If you're watching a video about the test or the application, make sure it is recent, because the questions changed a few years ago and the application form changed last year.
