Alien number different on I-797 and I-94

Oh, good Lord. While filling out my AOS docs I noticed there is what I presume is a typo on my visa. A 3 became a 0 in my alien number. Is this going to be a huge issue? I'm going with the original number on the I-797 . Do I try to contact someone to fix this or just cross fingers and hope for best?

I'd suggest making an Infopass appointment and getting that corrected ASAP. Probably nothing bad would happen, but it has the potential to cause you some headaches down the line.

Thanks, I know burying my head in the sand isn't the best thing to do. We lost absolutely everything (except for the most important papers) in a house fire 2 weeks ago so we don't have any copies of the previous bits. I can see headaches looming....

So, the number is different on the I-94 and your visa? Your subject stated they are different on the I-797 and the I-94, but your post mentions the visa. Typos can happen, and you should trust the A# on your NOA2 approval notice for the I-129F petition. You can call and ask to speak to a tier 2 IO to make sure of your correct A# that they have in their system.
