Hey everyone, please someone help me, i changed my last name after got married and i am going to apply for a green card through marriage but my documents as my passport and visa are brazilian, what do i do? can i just apply for a green card and use from now on my name as my name after wedding or i have to change my name in my passport? but this is impossible right? cause I am living in usa with my husband so they cant issue brazilian passports here....

Use your married name on your green card, if that is the name you are going to use. Anytime you need to use your passport for anything, keep your marriage certificate at hand and use that as a verification of your name change.

You likely will need to continue to book airline flights (especially international) in your passport name, but once you can update your passport you can change it (I assume) there too.

I don't know the process for issuing passports for Brazil, but maybe there is a way to renew by mail?

A quick google search gave this as a step by step, I have no clue if it is current or accurate...

You should apply for the GC using your married name. And yes, you can renew your passport here in the US, but you don't need to do it now unless your passport is about to expire. You can renew it by mail or you can visit a Brazilian consulate. If you want to change your name on your passport, however, you need to visit a consulate first and register your wedding, and this is something you can't do by mail.
