Good luck with that! :)

I've just heard from the congressman that USCIS still hasn't updated my case yet. Apparently they have a backlog of stuff they need to get into the system and so she couldn't give a time frame on when I'll receive my GC.

At least it's some news....

As I understand I will pay 325 + 70 on my interview day. Can we put those two on just one money order of $395? Or do they need to be separated?

I am really not sure about the money order. I am probably gonna take seperate ones just to be safe and unless u have a specific answer on that.

I love the Dallas mavericks but i was kinda relieved that they didnt win last nite. U know there would have be a parade at 11am if they won on the 20th... and the traffic would have been pretty bad.

I will probably see u guys there. Good luck

What is $325 for?

What is $70 for?

I've read something that I-485 doesn't have a fee.

Now this is confusing ;)

Filed: AOS (apr) Country: Canada
Timeline

Hey everyone! I'm new to these forums....you can check out my signature for my timeline. I'm from Canada and moved here last summer to Texas to be with my now husband.

I did my AOS through the Pilot Program and everything went quickly and smoothly. We were married on July 9th, 2005....went for our DORA - AOS appointment and got approved for the Pilot Program on July 11th and then I received my permanent resident card on September 26th. So my question is, when am I supposed to apply to remove the conditional status? Is it 90 days before the 2 year anniversary of the expiry date on the PR card?? (That would be 90 days prior to 9/26/07). I was just wondering if the lifting of conditional status situation remains the same for those who went through the DORA Pilot Program.

Also, what is the I-551 stamp? Do we get this when we've gone through the Pilot Program? I don't think I have that stamp in my passport....would it be somewhere else? A piece of paper they might have sent me or something?

That's all for now, but I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions in the future!

Thanks!

Hi there,

$325 is for I-485 Adjustment of statuts

$70 is for Biometrics

You can put the total amount in one money order. However, I think you will need another $190 for I-130 Petition for Alien Relative. So the total amount for everything will be $585, If you do not have that money with you on interview day they will send you home; and you ll need to get another appt.

Hope that helps
