hello everyone, I have my NOA 1 and still in initial review and today I got an email notice from USCIS saying that my petition I-130 has been transferred to another office for processing and sent me a notice explaining this action. they will notify me by mail when decision is made.

Does anyone know what this means?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Is the beneficiary from the Philippines? The last few days these files have started being transferred as well.

9/6/2013 -Priority Date 5/13 /2014- Case number and IIN assigned

2/25/2014 -Transferred to NSC 5/20/2014- DS-261 completed

3/31/2014 -Approved 5/21/2014- AOS fee invoiced and paid

5/22/2014- AOS package overnighted to NVC

5/28/2014- AOS scanned into the system

6/20/2014- IV invoice email (but fee still locked on CEAC )

6/23/2014- IV fee finally unlocked and paid.

IV package overnighted to NVC

6/30/2014- IV scanned in. DS260 completed.

7/1/2014- AOS accepted

7/2/2014- False checklist (AOS reviewed)

8/1/2014 False checklist (attorney's G28 reviewed)

8/2/2014 False checklist (NVC not sure why it was generated)

If you go through other threads, you'll see that a lot of cases with beneficiaries from the Philippines have been transferred. This only started a few days ago, so the outcome of this transfers is still to be seen.

so with this notice its just a transfer and not any forward progress with the petitions?

Well, quite a few transferred cases have been approved already. (not only Philippines, see the link I posted above. Most Feb, March and April now)

However, they only just started transferring cases with beneficiaries in the Philippines (all months, Feb- Oct) so we have to wait and see what happens.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi sado...mine was also transferredn nov.21 but it says to the local office( im thinking its the local uscis office in chicago since i live in illinois). I filed in July and my beneficiary is in the Phils also...

My case was transferred in another uscis office on nov.21 and now my status says, transferred to local office who has jurisdiction over my case this nov.22. July filer here and beneficiary is in the Philippines.

USCIS My Case Status shows my cases were transferred as well and all 3 case numbers now read:

"On November 22, 2013, we transferred this case **I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN** to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283".

**For my I-129 case number, it reads the same except it contains the following in place of the I-130 comment: I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Philippine beneficiaries (spouse and stepdaughter)

I-130s filed 9/27/2013 - - - NOA1 received 10/2/2013

I-129 filed 10/16/2013 - - - NOA1 received 10/21/2013
