He received an email that the I-129F packet has been received. But up until now, he hasn't received any NOA1 yet. I figured out and asked him last night where did he get the email from? He said CT.

Not really sure if he knows what he's talking about, but there's no Service Center in CT right? I Googled then and found out that CT process applications in Vermont Service Center?? Is this true? Enlighten me please. :bonk:

11/07/2013 - Biometrics

11/08/2013 - Received the RFE letter in the mail & sent RFE on the same day!!

11/14/2013 - RFE respond received

12/04/2013 - I-485 Family-based Card in production (a.m.) then went to Decision (p.m.) - NO interview

12/09/2013 - Green Card was mailed!

12/11/2013 - GC received! 2 months and 1 day from the NOA1

Ask your fiance to forward to you the e-mail he received. In the USCIS email, there is a receipt number with 3 letters and 10-digit number. If the 3 letters are EAC, your petition was forwarded to Vermont Service Center. You can use this receipt number to track your petition on the USCIS website: http://www.uscis.gov/

You can wait for the hardcopy of NOA1 for a few more days. Good luck! :)

NOA1 letter can take a week to a month for delivery. More than likely, it will end up at his address within a week after receiving the email. The info. above is correct.

Some people reportedly never receive the official Form I-797c. If you have your petition receipt number you are good to go.

Thanks a lot! My fiance just forwarded the USCIS Acceptance Confirmation, it does have a receipt number. It was sent Jan 9th, so until now the NOA1 letter hasn't arrived yet. I believe our case will cause some delays because the address he put is FPO. He doesn't have permanent address in Japan.
