We did not wait for an appointment letter. We were able to get in ST Lukes with simply the NOA2, although my wife had to sign a form that no appointment letter was submitted. After the medical was complete I sceduled her interview allowing about 3 weeks to be sure the medical and passports had arrived at USEM. Our appointment letter arrived after visa already in hand.

any letter from NVC that has case number, visa category, beneficiarys name would be fine.

Being you have your MNL #, schedule your interview online at the embassy then print a copy of the confirmation page and bring two copies of that to St. Luke's, that is as good as the letter from the embassy.

Once you have your MNL # you can take your passport and required visa fee (in Php) to BPI and pay your visa fee. The embassy website states that within 4 hours of paying at BPI you can schedule your interview appointment but most times it seems to take about 24 hours.

When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning of the passport number, your passport number IS your receipt number (normally).

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.

Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other (maybe, they might mail the interview letter) for the embassy.

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

Art. 14. I only presented the (printed) email interview appointment confirmation when I had my medical because I didn't wait for the appointment letter from the Embassy. SLEC accepted it. So, you'll be fine if you don't have it yet.
