can somebody please tell me what is the name of the USCIS service center we should use and also its address!! i really do appreciate it!!!!!!!

ALso does my friend have to mail the package to the same address or there is a different one?

It's not really important but put the Dallas lockbox address (where your friend will mail the package).

I think the fiance letter of intent example on VJ is old, and refers to a time where the petitioner had to directly mail the petition to the appropriate Service Center depending of where do he/she live in the US. It changed and now everybody has to mail the I-129F package to the Texas lockbox (as stated in the official USCIS instructions http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf).

thanks didopage!! now i undertand where the package should be sent to (I am attaching the screen shot of the lockbox address the petition has to be sent to, is it a correct one?), I understand that the example of the "letter of intent" might be outdated, but he still needs to file it, right? so my question is what address should we use in that letter, i know it may be just a formality, but still!! also the address of a service center has to be on the cover letter for the package!

thank you so much for your attention! really!

Just use the address for the lockbox in TX, they will process the file, give it a case number and then forward it to either Vermont or California

Please read the pdf I sent you the link to, it is clearly explained where to send it.

And again, on the letters of intent (yes, he needs to file it, one from him, one from his fiancee) or cover letter, anywhere, just put the Texas lockbox address (where you will find the address in the pdf instructions).

PS: Your attached file doesn't appear… but LOOK on the USCIS pdf instructions!

It doesn't matter much which address you put on the cover letter and letters, but yes, that one is good. I can confirm it to you! :D

To mail the package, use this address only if you mail it with USPS. If you use express mail or courier deliveries, that's the other address (at Lewisville).

"To Whom It May Concern" works fine for the letter.

The instructions give the lockbox in Texas to send it to.
