AFTER ALMOST 5 MOS OF CHECKING THE MAIL EVERYDAY

yahooo!!!!:dance::dance::dance: WE JUST GOT OUR NOA2 IN THE MAIL TODAY DATED DEC 2!!! :wow::thumbs:

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WHAT'S NEXT???

If you are like all the rest of us, very impatient.....LOL you can call the National Visa Center (NVC) at 603-334-0700, press 1 for English, then press 2 for info, they can tell you the date they recieved your packet and the day they sent it to the US Embassy (USEM) here. Most importantly they can give you your MNL number. You will need your USCIS Recipt number (the WAC-XX-XXX-XXXXX, one, not sure if they all start with WAC, so yours might be different.) I've read a bunch of stuff about how long it takes the Embassy to get your packet, mine was sent to USEM on Nov. 30, 2010. I got a hold of the embassy this morning (phils time) and they are telling me it is still not there.

I understand you can pay BPI online, but with so many BPI offices near us here in Manila, my fiance just went to a BPI bank near us. They asked if she had a letter from the Embassy, she don't have. My fiancée gave them a copy of the Bio page of her passport and the data sheet I prepared and that was all that was needed for that, oh they did ask to see her passport.

You will get a deposit receipt THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT. DO NOT LOSE IT! Here is the link about payment.

http://manila.usemba...wwwhniv1.html#1

Note:

The part about giving you a UID is incorrect, they did not for us and for others I

have talked.

Also, the part about 4 hours after being able to access the appointment

scheduling system, might be true, if you have already received the letter from

the Embassy. We have not received it yet, so I still cannot access the scheduling

system.

waht data sheet if i may ask? tnx in advance!! :)

Sorry, I should have clarified that. I just typed up a sheet for her to carry around, with our names and passport numbers dates of Birth

the relevant numbers like USCIS and NVC case number. some other important and contact info.

She said they wanted it, it wasn't meant to be handed out any where, but oh well.

thank u so much sis for these links.. very helpful...:thumbs:

Kuya might work or Tito..... LOL

NP, just ask I got plenty of links.

Word of advice, I was reading a lot of other threads and even here in the Phils area, not paying attention to what kind of Visa the commenter was working on, or where they were in the process.

So, I would see some form someone would mentioned and start freaking out that I needed that form. Just pay attention to who is posting and if they are working on a K1 Visa or not.

Seems the process for us K1'ers has under gone a lot of change lately, so it's kind of a new area again.
