Hi all,

My packaged was sent on 8/2/2010. It was received next day.

While waiting, I will learn a new simple tagalog word each day. I need to ease my anxiety. :).

8.2 balisa - anxiety

8.3. Agosto - August

8.4 miyerkoles - Wednesday

8.5 hwebes - Thursday

By the time she is here, I will know many simple tagalog words...hmmmm...that might work actually not such a bad idea neither.

  • 02.22.2011 - Packet reached ABU DHABI's consulate
  • 03.02.2011 - packet 3 & 4 received by email
  • 03.02.2011 - Confirmation of Interview on 04.14.2011 -
  • 03.07.2011 - Fiancee passed medical exam.
  • 04.14.2011 - K1-Visa Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • 04.21.2011 - Picked up Visa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2010-20-12 -Got our NOA1 letters in the mail for our I-485 & I-765...A wonderful Christmas gift for us!!

2011-19-01 -Received Biometrics schedule!!

2011-07-02 -Biometrics done!!..thanked God!!

2011-17-03 -AOS Interview..APPROVED!!

2011-24-03 -GREENCARD received!!..it's green indeed!!..lol..

I'm an August VSC filer as well, I sent mine the day after you and they just got it yesterday. It was also signed for by D. Renaud. So we're officially on our way, it's exciting!

Like Coconuts said, lets all hope for a fast and relatively easy journey!

Good..I am learning too..hard to pronounce though..I always asked her whats for breakfast and here it is in tagalog...."Ano almusal?"

05/23/2022 Sputum test wait 2 months to released result

07/22/2022 Sputum test passed same day Immunization

07/27/2022 Interview US Embassy Manila (Refused ask Embassy request DNA test)

08/31/2022 DNA test Kit Paid (Universal Genetics)

9/13/ 2022  Embassy took the sample both me after 3 days result was 99.9999 % Positive :)

9/29/2022    Passport with visa 

10/2/2022    CFO registered online only  

10/2/2022  Paid 220 for green card

10/19/2022 Flight to USA

A&F, welcome to the group!

They only got my package yesterday so I can't start frantically checking my bank account for the cleared check yet, but believe me, in a couple of days I most certainly will. I can't believe it's only been a day and I already can't stand the waiting, I hate being patient :(

Be sure to keep us posted on your updates seeing as of ours so far, yours was the first to get there. :)

My package was signed by "A. Stanley"!?!?

Anyways, does anybody knows the duration of the visa? I mean is it 3-,6-,12-months? I know once you enter the USA you have 3months but we are trying to figure out the max time we have between visa in passport and POE

It has a six month validity from when its issued.

:dance: ah! That's exciting! That means, hopefully, mine will be in the next couple of days! Its really too bad they're not putting the case numbers on the back anymore, though. But Congrats anyway! Hopefully your NOA1 comes soon!
