Examples of different types of affidavits

I'm looking for a list of all the different types of affidavits that are available. The wiki had me confused who was writing and signing what. If anyone has any examples you can take the personal details from I would like to see them, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, do affidavits have to be written in front of a public notary? Thanks again, regards

Anyone with affidavit examples?

Your question is unclear but if you are asking about affidavits from third parties attesting to their knowledge of the bona fides of your relationship, I like the phantom (invisible) ones best. You're reading from a list of optional additional items. The most commonly used is the last on the list, called "any other" usually consisting of photos and communication evidence.

Are affidavits not completely necessary? I'm talking about an affidavit from me the petitioner and my spouse the beneficiary, maybe one from my parents, here parents, a friend, etc. To use for proof of bonafide marriage.

No as pushbrk posted they are an option but not necessary. Many filers submit their petition with other evidence ( photos, emails, chat logs) and are fine.

Yes, really not necessary and usually quite lame but can be entertaining. "Yes we were at the reception and happened to stay in the next room. They did seem to be having an exciting honeymoon." or "Yes, we attended the wedding and reception and those kids really seemed eager to get out of the place." Seriously, such affidavits need to be about the relationship, not the wedding and are really not needed except in pretty unique circumstances.
