Hi,

Can anyone tell me why this keeps happening?

I have had 3 Case Status updates from the USCIS.

First one arrived on the 30 April,

we have ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days.

The second one on May 10, we ordered production of your new card, please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

The third one, on the 19 May,we mailed you a notice that we have approved your removal of conditions. The only thing i have already received one. This is second one i have received letting me know i have been approved.

Does this mean i will get 2 Greencards.

Has this happened to anyone else?

The same exact thing happened to us. 2 different dates (April 27th and then again May 11th) stating that a new card had been ordered and a third date (May 18th) stating that it had been approved. I finally called and got an immigration officer on the phone yesterday at USCIS and was told that the actual card was mailed on the date when we got the approval notice which was May 18th. We will see if it comes in the mail in the next couple of days...

USCIS announced that it has redesigned GC on 5/12.

So, maybe they are trying to send new card as much as possible and delay card production order...

And or this may cause system error?

That's just how it works - you should get three updates (at least, that seems pretty universal). The card will arrive within a few days of the 3rd notice in my experience.

AOS (from tourist w/overstay)

1/26/10 - NOA

5/04/10 - interview appt - approved

ROC

2/06/12 - NOA date

7/31/12 - card production ordered

N-400

2/08/13 - NOA date

3/05/13 - biometrics appt

6/18/13 - interview - passed!

7/18/13 - oath ceremony
