I've been working on this for a while now with Merlaine's help. I don't think I've forgotten anything but hoped you all could chime in with your thoughts and opinions.

The photos aren't the best but I think you can see what I have in each of the folders. I used the oversized Avery folders and tabbed sheet protectors.

Then, I have individual page folders for her appointment letter, NBI and police clearance. I'll replace the MNL you can see on the cover letters with the case number after we get one. The file folder photo came out pretty bad but you can see the individual folders in the front. I used the ideas of other members here to put it all together of course...so thank you all :) I'll send this to her via DHL once we've received the NOA2.

i'm so impressed w/your organization. many applicants don't put much effort into it thinking it doesn't matter, but it does because whoever will process your application will not only have an easier time but will also have a good attitude about it because you took time to think about making the evaluation easier for them. just think if you were in their shoes, right!?

good luck and god bless!

She's been putting together a wedding album that we got as a gift so I'll be sure to tell her to take that along too. She's already freaking about how much stuff she's gotta take. I told her I'd buy her a wheel barrow before she went ;) LOL

We did a similar type organization with my wife's K1. Her Consul interview lasted about 5 min. Being prepared and organized is probably as important as the information inside. I think a well prepared package gives the Consul the feeling that the person really cares about the process and has done their homework without even looking at the documents. If all the required docs are there her interview should be a cakewalk.

Thank you for sharing the pics. I had my interview earlier today. This is also how i organized my documents. But the pre screener only asked for the folder containing proof of relationship and pics.

i didn't put my pics in an album. Because the hole in the window is too small. ( 2 inch x 12 inch) with a downward curve.

These pics are very helpful. The interviewer will really like it.

Hi,

Congratulations for preparing such an impressive documentation. I know you put your heart and mind on it. I did the same for our interview documents, spent several nights after office. Only to find out that the embassy asked for only few documents namely, DS 156, DS157, DS 156K,visa payment fee slip, medical reports(coz we hand carried it) NBI clearance, birth cert, annotated marriage contract, pics and cards. Coming to the interview well prepared and with complete documentation makes us confident and lessens the anxiety.

What impresses me most is that you were the one who prepared those folders. My fiance did the documentation for the application submitted to USCIS and I was also impressed how he did it. It makes me say that this visa journey really brings out the best in our MAN - dedication, commitment, perseverance, patience and even creativity.

Great job and wish you the best! Good fortune on the coming interview!
