Biometrics again for Permanent Residence?

I've been waiting for a while now for my Permanent Residence approval and today i received a letter that I needed to do my biometrics again on Dec. 8. Is this normal? Coz my case was transferred to CSC last July. And I already have my employment card which means that biometrics was ok. Was this my fault or theirs that they might lost my records? Thanks.

Some people have been asked to do biometrics twice 1 for EAD and AP and 1 for AOS. But I think you should call the center number and ask about it.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

The biometrics that I had before was for both ead and aos. And I already got my ead and ap. And only aos is pending. Call center is already closed, so I need to wait and worry the whole night now before I can get the answer for this. It is just so frustrating that after waiting for long months this will happen. But like what ive read here, I hope that maybe they just can't read my fingerprints or something. I will take this though than having an RFE which is way too much.;(

You should show up for that appointment. You have nothing to lose!

If you look at my signature you will see that they sent me to do my I-485 bio after the interview, because they never took it. In my case the first bio was taken for the EAD only.

They call it redo. I had the same, it's okay though, it's just because they cannot read the fingerprints. Well they mentioned about it in the letter. Just show up on the schedule they asked. One of my friends even walk-in again. But I tried not to walk-in, so I followed their instruction :)

I had two biometrics too and I did a walk-in for both. The reason why is because the FBI can't read your fingerprint card and can't run the criminal background check. After both the fingerprinting procedures, I also received a RFE because both of my fingerprint cards were rejected and cannot be read for some reason. So, they asked me to get my Certificate of Good Conduct (criminal background check) from my local PD or County Sheriff's Office. Though the whole RFE thing delayed my case for two weeks, but getting the document needed was painless and just took 10 minutes. My AOS was approved a few days after they received my RFE response.

So no worries, it's all good!

Cheers..

Thank you so much for your positive response. Yes, I will do the biometrics as scheduled. It's this tuesday already so it's not too far from today. Im hoping that the processing will move faster and that my case will be ok soon after my second bio.
