There was a long line for immigration/customs for foreigners. They made me wait. Once I arrived at the counter, he asked me if I knew what my address would be where I would be living. He told me I had 90 days to get married and then asked me if I had tobacco, alcohol or food with me. He then stamped my passport and let me go. |

We arrived at Miami International Airport around 1:50 PM and went through primary inspection after a lengthy wait in the immigration line. My husband was then directed to secondary inspection, where the officers reviewed the sealed documents from the embassy and conducted a brief interview. Although the wait was long, the CBP officers were courteous, respectful, and professional throughout the process. |
