We were greeted by a Caucasian male about 50 to 60 years old named freedman he asked us for the packet given to us when we picked up the passport. He had my fiance give fingerprints and then put us in a little room they looked at the paper work and typed some information then asked me to confirm my full name and then we were okay to leave the room and pick up our luggage.	2019-09-24

We arrived fairly late at JFK and followed all passengers towards the passport/customs area, and went into the normal line for foreigners seeking to enter the United States. The line went actually very fast and before we knew it, we were in front of a custom booth. When we were called up to the booth, the custom officer immediately asked; "what is the purpose of your visit?", i said; "we're seeking to immigrate! she then followed up with, "oh ok, do you have your documents?" (meaning the sealed envelopes from the embassy) Since I travelled with my son, she also asked; "...is that your son?" I said; "...yes", then she asked if I was bringing any food items, I said yes, and named the food I brought. That was all, and she basically went through our documents, stamped them on a window in front of the documents, and then she stamped our passports on the corner of our IR1/IR2 VISAS. It was all done in less than 10 minutes, very smooth and easy. Nothing to be worried about :) :)	2021-10-19
