Darren & Dawn JFK 2008-07-07 - High At the airport as soon as you tell check-in that you are not coming back and show them the visa, they will give you the WHITE I-94. The staff at JFK were friendly and courteous. If there is someone there directing traffic, tell that person that you have paperwork for immigration. If there is no one else in line, the officer you see will look at the paper work and may ask a few questions. The questions that were asked of me were quite simple. After that, he will tell you to go somewhere else, and you will be directed by another officer. Give the paperwork to yet another officer, and he will tell you to take a seat. Unless he or she has to ask you more questions thats it. The I-94 should have a temp EAD stamp on the back. I wish all going through this all the luck, but if your going through JFK it really is a breeze. 2011-02-05

Kwame & Amma JFK 2008-07-03 - High 2009-01-08
Bassi & Zainab JFK 2008-07-02 - High It was a 4 hour wait for a 4 minute process. That was sooooooo frustrating. It was also freezing. A lot of people missed their connecting flights, so don't book them close together. Give yourself at minimum a 5 hour layover at JFK cause they do not expedite you if you have a connecting flight. They kept telling people, you'll just have to get on the next available flight. We stood in line to see an immigration/customs agent at the booth. They took biometrics, checked the passport and visa and then sent us to a room to wait to see another agent. This agent asked how long he planned to stay, then told him to get married within 90 days, stamped his passport in and attached the temporary EAD card to the passport. Then we went on our way. 2009-05-29
Beej Natasha & Brian JFK 2008-07-02 - High Officer was surprised that she knew to ask for EAD stamp. Thanks VJ 2008-11-01
Lucky_enough Aby & Roy JFK 2008-07-02 - High Dear Vjer's I cannot express in words how easy it was to go through DHS officials at JFK. The whole process took 7 minutes and I was through with even the EAD stamped on my I-94 without even being asked once. I would definitely recommend JFK as anyone's POE. 2009-04-11
ScottFL Valentina & Scott JFK 2008-06-28 - High 2008-09-11
Ali & Annick JFK 2008-06-28 - High Visa processing took long, 3 1/2 hrs as it was a Saturday and no personnel spoke French or Italian to interview / process my Fiance's visa 2014-09-17
