It was very simple I when thought inmigration and they took my fingerprint a picture after they open the close envelope that the embassy gave me with my passport, then I had to go to other place where they finally took my papers and they stamp the EAD on my I94 |

There were no issues with JFK as far as harrasment. Being that it is a large airport it did take quite sometime to get through customs, approximately 3 hours. The only problem we have just realized is that they never gave my husband back his paperwork. Now we do not have his police clearnace or his medical. I have attempted to call the airport, but they have not return my call. |

The entire process consisted of agent at desk asking when we got married, then being lead to a police office where my fingerprint was taken. I was asked again when we got married and then released. the entire process took less than 5 minutes. i was wondering if something was wrong but no, in less than 5 minutes I was standing on the street watching cars go by. I guess it depends on where you enter. my wife is from New York so we spent 2 weeks there before going on to Los Angeles. |
