arrived at the tripod area, fairly empty.
handed the envelope to the officer and was told to sit. 15 min approx, later he was called up to the counter and was asked a few simple questions, including our home number. Finger printed and told to sit back down. They were searching on the computer and the officers supervisor came to help him, he seemed new. She then started called my SO convo with my husband. Meantime i was worried of the baggage and the next plane..hahah not knowing we had a long search ahead. Got through and walked to the next officer around the corner with the connecting flight area behind him..he looked at us and handed us our passports back and sent us to secondary.
The lady officer first called me and asked me to identify which bags were mine, which were his on the table. I replied they were co mingled because of weight issue was my priority. She asked my to stand back and watch her go through everything, and never touch anything until she tells me she is finshed. While searching she had conversation with me which I knew was to be not for making friends but a kind questioning that my SO would have at his turn...where did we meet? what site? what did we talk about? what does he do for work in Maroc? What do I do?
told me to repack my bags.
So he went through the same with the other two bags. Then he repacked and was told to bring his one bag and they walked him to another area.
He sat until called into a little room. Where another female officer interviewed him. 3 interviews later we walked back to the second station and got through.
Be patient. |

Laos embassy issued B2 Visa for child born abroad. Howeved Laos do not recognize dual citizenship, so to work around that would be to get a Laos passport for the child and issue a B1. Airport official got confused since mother is K1 holder while child held a B2. All was good when child's US Passport and CBRA was shown. |
