Montreal/NY Border; Our first trip back to Canada from New York since receiving AP papers. The guy at the booth asked for the paper that the AP/EAD card came with and gave us a look and waited some time before sending us to the processing area. The woman in the processing area was nice and said it's no big deal; that I'll need to do this every time and get re-paroled in each time. It took maybe 30 minutes total with 20 minutes of waiting before the woman took us. There are some people at the Montreal/NY (I-87) border that worry me because they're on power trips. Not to be sexist, but it's usually the women. |
