Couldn't go to a citizens' line, because some retard decided we couldn't. (When we go to the Immigration Officer through the visitor's line, I asked him, if it would've been fine to go to US Citizens line and he said - OF COURSE).
So, in any case, IO opened up the envelope and processed Daria and escorted us to another immigration station. That wait was a bit frustrating, because there was no one else but us waiting and the young girl (IO) at the counter was a bit too preoccupied flirting with a guy. That went on for a good 30 minutes, until a second IO came around and grabbed our documents from that girl's desk. We were processed in the matter of minutes and were sent on our way. |

I arrived to LAX airport, when I talked with the immigration officer I gave him the envelope, he asked me two or three questions, he took fingerprints then gave me my passport with the I-94 copy, and told me "welcome to America" |

It was very uneventful. We pulled up to the Huntington/Sumas WA border in Abbotsford BC. We got sent inside. The guy called us up took the envelope and checked everything out, looked at my inventory list, took finger prints, and told us to have a seat. 20 minutes later he called us up gave my my passport and and said congrats. They didn't even look through my stuff. I had a huge trailer and SUV PACKED full of stuff including a queen size mattress and a dining table. I guess my inventory list was enough. It was very easy and everyone was nice. |
