This added some challenges as the usda office is only accessible from the truck lane. Most of the customs officers were very confused why I was in their office and not the standard care lane. It took time until an officer who seemed confident enough to tackle the immigration work came to help but when he showed up he was very friendly and made the experience a positive one. One hickup that I've had is that the customs officer stamped my passport on my passport page and not the VISA page as he was supposed to, I was questioned about this quite rudely when returning to the USA after a trip to Canada.	2011-07-13
