POE at Ft. Lauderdale airport, moderate visitors line. Both used the visitors line as expected by them. There were about 3 other people with first entry yellow packets. Officer was polite, took biometrics, told us we did not need to fill out I-94 and that we needed only one customs form, she kept the one for the first time entry resident and threw the other one away.
Officer walked us to a room for processing, there was only one other person there, two officers processing, they took finger prints the old fashion way, made her sign some forms, stamped her passport and told her she could use that as a resident card until new one arrives. Marked the expiration date Oct 16 2014 for her CR1. We were in there for about 10 minutes.
No harassment or search from customs.
Highly recommend using FLL as POE for Miami/Broward not the Miami airport.

The immigration officers gave a warm welcome to USA and I loved the way they treated me. I don't even know why visajourney has a harassment level box up there. They are the nicest people. |
