Officer at Point of Entry first time to handle K1 and K2s. He had to ask his co-officers for assistance. He asked me:"When was the last time you saw your fiance in person" I told him 2 years ago and he was taken aback, raised his eyebrows and asked his co-officer again: "hey, they haven't seen each other since 2 years ago!"..his co-officer told him: "Whatever their arrangements are is none of our business; all she has to do is to marry him within 90 days or else she gets deported"...well, he then took our biometrics, stamped our passports, retained our embassy documents and told us we are good and welcome to the united states. |

spent 30 mins in a queue to get through immigration, was shown to a small room, sat there for about 40 mins or so with 3 other couples, wasnt asked any questions, other than informed that my business with USCIS wasnt finished LOL that i still had to file to Adjust my Status, apply for Work Authorization, didnt even have my luggage checked like other people were! was given back my passport and was allowed to collect my luggage from the corner where i was told to leave it,grabbed my luggage and finally got to Dane about an hour n half after my flight landed. Tired and exhausted after such a long flight.

We only had a slight issue going through immigration in Houston. We were asked a couple of questions, sent to a small room to fill out a form we needed (I-94), and then we were on our way! The whole thing took about 10 minutes. Not really a big deal. |

I met a friendly young officer at the counter. He checked my passport and the biometrics.
I handed him the package and he stared at it wondering how to open it, because they taped it really well at the consulate in Amsterdam. He quickly browsed through the papers.
I was done within 15 minutes and it went very easy. |
