Very smooth POE apart from the wait as immigrants were put on a special section while officers checking the documents inside the big white envelope.

Champlain/Lacolle Border. Waited 2 hours before being called to a desk, only to hear one of the officier shout; Oh you ended up with the K1, Good luck!
Also was asked the same questions as the interview, if not more, Felt like there was a problem. She had the instruction Booklet with her and took about 45 mins processing all our paperwork. |

I had really bad experience there. The officer made sure to let me know that he's the boss there and he doesn't like idea of foreign people living in his country. He made me wait for his approval over one hour and made me being late for my flight to Orlando. I mentioned that my flight is in 15 minutes and he told me that he must to be at work as well. I had to spend night in the hotel near the airport and got on the plane again second day. |

There was systems error so I had to take bio-metrics several times before being confirmed. Don't be alarmed if that is also the case for you, as long as they are not hostile. The service agent was very helpful in fact. I wish you all luck.
NVC delivered my green card to the wrong address. A state away actually, so beware and call to check after 50 days, make sure to get your AOS number and also the receipt number for the form you pay for before entering the U.S. It goes a long way. I hope this helps. |
