We both walked up to the immigration desk, handed her the packet, she took us downstairs and we waited at the waiting area downstairs. A officer came up to my wife, asked her the same exact questions she was asked in the interview, stamped her departure record and let us go. He stamped our passports and asked for her package, less her x-rays. He asked me why it was so large and I just shrugged. (it was heavily front loaded from day one) He told me to get our luggage and wait for my wife downstairs and told her to accompany him to an office. About 45 minutes later lao po appeared with no wounds, scars or bruises and our new adventure began. On a previous arrival I asked an immigration officer about their procedure and what to expect.
