The wait in the secondary area was really long - and the scene we watched could have been from a Michael Moore Movie. The harrasment level obviously depended on origin, language proficiency and whether the American spouse was present. Also, the working environment for the officers themselves seemed very stressful - e.g. they received the command via speaker that they all had to work overtime that day -while about 25 people were waiting and listening. I (accompanied by my husband), was treated very politely and once we had made it to the front desk, I was admitted in less than five minutes. |

My Fiancee's flight arrived early. About an 1 hour and a half at customs. Asked when we are getting married. Other than that everything else was a breeze. So glad he's here!!!!! |

It was a breeze, entered on K1, told to get married within 90 days. Had a look through my file and asked a few questions but nothing difficult. Was not sent to secondary or anything. 5 minutes max!
UPDATE: when filing AOS I realised they'd stamped the wrong date (one day earlier) which meant sending in further proof such as boarding pass, ticket etc for date of entry in case of a query |

no harrasment - just complete stupidity at dulles airport. they had no idea how to process a K1 visa, so after standing around and basically staring at each other, someone figured it was like some other visa he had recently processed - and it was a quick apology, fingerprinting, and a shove out the door. no questioning or trouble, just ignorance! |

FOUR long hours waiting for TK to make it out of immigration. Finally she appeared from behind the doors:) According to her, everone was nice and courteous...just busy. They only asked her "when are you going to get married?" Easy enough...
Besides the terribly long wait...no complaints:) |
