Hemutian PE & MH San Francisco 2019-09-26 No No - High I flew with my fiancee together from Hong Kong to SFO. The employee at the Immigration line told us we could get in line together in the US Citizens line. However when we got to the agent, she said she was unable to process my fiancee because the system still had her previously revoked B1 visa from 3 years earlier. So we got sent to secondary. There was a long queue of people in secondary. It took about 30 minutes of waiting, but when they finally called my fiancee's name it was painless. They simply asked her when she was getting married (answer: in one week), and then we were free to go. 2024-11-28

JM27 The Overlord & The Overseer San Francisco 2019-05-05 - High Spent more than an hour in the Immigration office where IOs dealt with 5-6 entrants back and forth, delaying the process of having other entrants be cleared. It was frustrating, especially to first-time US entrants travelling alone, like me. Missed my flight to San Diego because of this. Informing the IO about a scheduled flight wouldn't affect how they go about their processes (one Chinese kid told an IO that he has a flight leaving soon but IO said, in a condescending tone, "Well then, you'll miss your flight. I'll get to you when I get to you."). Missed flights can be rescheduled just as long as the airline is informed that the delay was caused by being held up in the CBP. Not everyone travelling to the US the first time knows about this fact so imagine how these people would feel when placed in such a situation. 2023-01-29
