I was the only person to go through secondary processing that had another flight to catch. Even the airline asked if the officer could take me first because of the connecting flight, but they said no. Even the other immigrants said I should go first!!! Same questions we have answered many times. Everyone is polite, but the waste of time is annoying. I was able to get the EAD stamp, but declined because it would have taken a few hours (which does not make sense), but anyone can get the stamp here at this airport if they have the time and can wait.
