Once I got in the right line waiting to get through immigration it wend pretty smooth. Had I not been in the wrong line at first, it would have been quick, however, because of that it took me about an hour.Gave the officer all my documents and the passport. She asked if the address on the documents were correct and asked for my husbands phone number and took my fingerprints. Then I was asked to follow her to another room and wait. I waited for about 5 minutes, then I was called. I read and signed a document about removing conditions in 2 years,..and I was free to go. |

CBP at Detroit airport is really pleasant. I was really surprised how great they were. It would probably be different story if you aren't legal or something. |

I had an hour and thirty minutes between flights which was a very bad idea. The lady who was handling my documents was having a conversation instead of doing her work. I was in the room for an hour after which I picked my bags and went through customs. My flight to Charlotte delayed and that's how I managed to get on. I got to the boarding gate at 3:45 and the flight was previously scheduled to leave at 3:25 pm |
