Everyone was really polite. It didn’t take a lot. Went to a small room where they took the packet and my passport. After a few minutes they gave me back my passport and let me know about the 90 days. They also asked questions about how I met my now husband, what I was here to do in the US, and if I have any money or seeds that are not allowed here. |

Took a secondary interview which lasted 15 minutes, asked for background information about work and education. Asked questions like where did I learnt so speak English? Asked if they can go through my phone which I politely say yes but they didn’t go through. And let me go. |

Arrived at Houston airport on a flight from São Paulo, Brazil, took the line for Americans passports with my wife and my two kids. Line was short and the officer was nice, told my wife and kids they could go to the baggage claim to pick up our luggage, asked me to be escorted to a little room were they just checked my visa and told me I was good to go after 5 minutes. Really nice experience!! |

Petitioner was not allowed to remain with the beneficiary. My wife told me he asked for her husband's USA address and she only knew the city. He asked several times but she just said she didn't know. I remember telling her our address, but that doesn't seem like a detail a new wife would commit to memory. It isn't like she is even sending me regular mail. She and her daughter were allowed in regardless, so no issue. |
