Tatiana & Chris Atlanta 2012-03-02 No Yes - High Very easy and helpful through the process. Went better because I was there and spoke English. Took about 15 minutes. She wanted the copy of her shot records back and he wouldn't give to her. He said that all will be sent to USCIS and we can get a copy from them. I hope that doesn't get lost as we went through a lot to make sure she had all shots before coming to USA. 2013-01-13

Ricky & Jamie Atlanta 2012-09-29 - High POE was through atlanta. It was faster than i expected. They have 2 CBA there that process individuals with immigrant visa packets which is like all the way to the right of the US visitors line. The guy took my packet and my passport and opened it and then he started quizzing me, general questions like i experienced at the interview. the How,where, when we met while putting my I-94 information in the computer. finally stamped my visa and stapled the I94 form in my passport with the date Dec 27 on it. at the end, he gave me a sheet of paper with general information about the K1 and the 3 months to get married and about AOS, AP and EAD. overall, it was a great experience 2016-07-21
K & T Atlanta 2017-04-28 No Yes - High I went into the usual screening area for arrivals into Atlanta and was taken around the electronic passport machines to the desks you go to when you fly in for the first time. The CO asked who I was here to see (my fiancè) and why (to get married), which then gave me the opportunity to hand over my package. He took the package and fingerprints from my left hand, then a picture. He wrote K1 on the packet and passed it over to a lady who took me to a waiting area. I waited around 40 minutes and was called over. My passport had already been stamped and signed by the new CO and all he did was hand over a sheet about how to file a petition for a fiancè(e) (really??) and how to adjust status. In total I was there for an hour. The CO said welcome to the United States and saw me off with a smile! Easy peasy - just the waiting that drives one slightly crazy... 2023-08-22
