Sabellic Sabrina & Will Houston 2016-08-01 No Yes - High After a 12 hour long flight, we waited in the visitors line. The officer checked my passport and visa and told me to wait in the hall. Another officer came and asked my fiance to wait outside, and took me to another room. A couple of people were there, and after 5 minutes of waiting he took me to the famous "interrogation room." He was extremely rude, told me I was ruining my life by getting married and asked me why I waited so long to come to the US. I told him I wanted to spend as much time as possible with my family and he said I shouldn't be doing that, that k1 visas are limited and they come and go (um no?). He said my medical was expired and went to another room and made me think I was going to be denied entry. He came back and said "well I'm in a good mood today so I will let you pass." It was a terrible experience and I can't remember most of it fortunately! 2020-05-22

Mansux Sanna & Jason Houston 2016-07-22 - High POE was in Houston around 7pm. My husband and I had to go through the visitor line and there weren't that many people there so it took us about 15-20 minutes to get to boarder control. I handed over my envelope and the man welcomed me to my new country and was making jokes telling me you will get arrested. Mmm not my kind of humor but I smiled. He set my passport and envelope aside and told me to stand by a sign and wait for someone to pick me up and I would be interviewed. After a few minutes a man came and led me to a room with 20+ people waiting. My husband wasn't allowed to join me and cell phones had to be turned off. I waited about 30-45 minutes and my name was called. I walked up to a man who asked me how we met, and we talked a little about Houston and I was handed my passport and given information about the green card. I was told it would take 6-12 months to get my green card. And that was it :) 2016-07-23
