Gaby&Talbert Gabriela & Talbert El Paso 2007-06-26 Yes - High Border Patrol at the US/Mexican border can be good or bad depending on the nationality of the officer. My wife is Mexican and her words are "If the the officers are Chicano and especially female Chicano you will be harrassed". She says that for some reason the Mexicans that are second generation in the US think Mexicans are low class. I understand that the poorest people in Mexico are the majority of the people trying to get into the US because they only want to have a better life. Look at all the people that help build the US, the majority was the same, poor people wanting a better life. 2010-11-09
Xmgirl DG & DM El Paso 2008-02-07 Yes - High I entered to the US for first time with the immigrant visa to El Paso to give my visa package at the Cordova bridge, I did not have any problems, I had to wait like 30 minutes to give it to the BCP/USCIS people. Waited sitting in a large room then I went through other inside offices, there they took my fingerprints then sealed my passport. Then I went back to Mexico to get ready to oficially enter to live in the US. I, then traveled and entry through IAH/ HOUSTON airport, I did not have any problem, they just asked me if I was bringing any valuables or alcohol. I lined up with US citizens and residents for the first time!. I was expecting to have to fill other I-94 form, but my surprise was I did not have to fill anything just had to show the passport and that was it!... 2017-01-29
