Everything went really smoothly, though the fact my fiance was travelling with me might have helped with that, who knows.
The officer in the primary point was polite and nice, took my biometrics and visa envelope (he said they didn't need the x-rays envelope) and just asked the basic on when we lived and when we were getting married, if we knew... He told me to go to a room for the secondary interview, that actually was even faster. I saw the officer opening my envelope and checking documents and then she called me and stamped my visa with the date of validity.
After that it was the usual picking of luggage and customs, where the officer noticed the K1 and asked me what will happen if we don't get married before the stamped date (90 days). I answered "then I have to go back to my home country" and he said "yep, and apply for a new visa if still want to get married". I told him that wouldn't happen, but he seemed happy I gave the right answer and knew the proceeding.
That was it. No harassment at all, though still happy I didn't have to do it by myself, since I'm the anxious type :P |
