POE was simple and quick. Many airport workers were around to guide travelers to the correct lines for processing. My fiance handed the officer the sealed K1 visa packet and was asked a few questions (What is your fiancee's name, how old is she, how did you meet). He also reminded my fiance that we have 90 days to get married and file for adjustment of status. My only issue is that my fiance's flight landed 35 minutes early and I (petitioner) barely made it to meet him at the gate! Certainly that is of no fault to the airport or the officers at O'Hare however. :) |
