Victoria & Ryan Philadelphia 2015-07-16 No No - High Philadelphia was very easy and I was taken to secondary processing, waited for around 15 minutes then was called up, given my passport with the stamp next to the visa and told the date which we had to be married by. 2015-11-05
Tamilian & MOC Philadelphia 2015-01-29 Yes - High the officer saw my student visa and sent me for secondary inspection, i clarified & showed my EAD + AP and they cleared me in, no questions or interviews etc, but i have to admit it was rather uncomfortable mentally when you are taken for a secondary inspection. i guess its thier policy to get it verified by a secondary inspection. 2015-02-11

G & W Philadelphia 2015-12-23 - High Here's a summary of my POE experience: My POE was Philadelphia, PA. I had about two hours lay over before taking the flight to my final destination. I was a little worried that I would not be able to make the connection but I actually had plenty of time. I was on a huge line with people waiting to entry, the line I was in was for Non U.S. Citizens/Non Permanent Residents, i.e. I was on the 'Visitors' line. The officer was really polite, he took fingerprints and asked me how long did I have to wait to come back and reunite with my husband. He said: "Oh man, let's get you back to your husband, let's get you back in the country." He walked me to a room called "Secondary Inspection". I waited less than 15 minutes and was called at a desk. The officer took the sealed envelope I received along with my passport after the interview, and she only asked if the mailing address listed on the first page was still good. She stamped my passport, gave it back to me, and that was it. Despite of the long entry lines, everything else went excellent! I wish everyone else the same, a smooth, great POE experience! May everyone be reunited soon with his/her loved one, and be happy together, forever! 2016-01-09
JulieJulie a & j Philadelphia 2015-01-28 Yes - High We passed through together. Because my husband was traveling with me, his USC wife, we were directed to wait in the USC side. We waited for just over an HOUR to get to one of the only SIX windows that were open. While waiting in line at we saw that one of the officers asked everyone a ton of questions and was hostile toward many of the travlers. We chose not to go to her line. When we got to the front, of our line the officer told us that his fingerprint machine is broken and sent us TO THAT WOMAN WE DIDN'T WANT. I am the USC and she asked me about every previous stamp in my passport and asked questions about our relationship, and if I intentionally sought out middle eastern men, how I met my husband, WHY I had previously traveled to other MENA countries, she asked me three times what I did for a living. I Don't know if she would have been like this if I had not been entering with my husband or not, but I've NEVER been questioned like that before even when returning from other MENA countries like Lebanon and Pakistan!!! After several minutes of questioning and only ONE question asked to my husband, she sent us to secondary processing. Secondary processing had a 45 minute wait but the officer there was very friendly and the other officers were joking with people and trying to make them feel relaxed. once it was our turn, it took only five minutes with ZERO harassment, just a few questions. We had a three and a half hour conneection time for our flight and we had to RUN to get our bags checked in and then to our gate because our departure was in a different terminal 3.5 HOURS is NOT long enough despite the fact that we got waived right through the long line at customs. 2018-06-28
