At the POE everything went smoothly. They had me go into "Secondary inspection" where they took the brown envelope - ripped it appart and went through it I guess. Then I was good to go.. they kept everything that was in the brown envlope and said that when I file for AOS the USCIS will request it from them. |

Everything went very smoothly.
I wasn't even interviewed. They took my passport with visa, I-94, customs declaration and my brown envelope and then told me to sit down and wait. After 10-20 minutes they called me back up, stapled the I-94 to my passport and assigned me an alien registration number and said 'That was it, you're all done.' |

Handed my packages to the lady at the immigration desk, and she said "You're getting married...RIGHT ON!" and sent me to the side room. I was only asked a few questions, and the staff were pleasant. The whole process took about 20 minutes and was very low stress. |

Both officers were really nice, no questions asked, took 30 mins because secondary inspection room was crowded. |

Was taken into a room and interviewed (with the same types of questions as those asked in India) and had his luggage thoroughly searched, but the interviewer was much less rude than the man at the consulate in Delhi and everything was finished fairly speedily. |
