4 hour wait in line due to 2 customs officers at the line, and 1 in the back office. There were over 200 people in the line.
I was allowed to remain with Aisha, even to the office. The intake processor was a backup who was supporting the front line. Very friendly. Emphasized that we had to marry within 90 days, and the visa was a one time entry use only.
Having me present actually seemed to benefit the officer, as it alleviated concern about translation. Orlando appears to be a English/Spanish only (or heavy) entry. So he and I spoke 99% of the time. The only question ask of Aisha was the name of her parents.
All other questions I answered. |
