1st Customs Official at check-in had me go into main office to register two sealed Consolate packages with office staff. Passport stamped and I-94 inserted into passport. No questions, about 20 mins to process. |

Took her off in a separate room away from most of the rest, possibly since she was the only K1 holder that day/flight-magnified by the fact that she was accompanied by the minor K2. They delayed her about an hour, most of time spent waiting quietly on a bench to be called. Didn't have any problem really, but learned from observation that it was best to be patient, of course. There was a man of Middle Eastern descent there who repeatedly got up and asked how much longer it would be. He was told firmly to "have a seat and we will get to you". He was still there when they left. |
