Not much harassment (don't know why it's stuck on 5) other than a decent wait (3.5 hours) and fearing we'd miss our next flight (since other people had been there 6 hours before they got called) |

In Miami they took me for about two hours into a hot, closed room and and I waited for Customs Officials. Later, I gave them my medical exam papers (yellow envelope) and after this I waited (he was not friendly, just official). Later, he explained the rules for K-1, and that I cannot work without permission (if I work without official permission, they will deport me). They didn't tell me what else to do. I was confused about the entry process in general, and didn't know where to go next, or what to do next. I didn't ask him because he seemed rude, and he seemed a little nervous. Later, he allowed me to leave and to find my luggage. And then I tried to find my finance! We decided to meet at Section "D", International Arrivals, curbside and I found him. ;-) |
