We encountered a nearly 75 y/o CBP officer at POE who was curt and not so friendly. He processed my wife to secondary screening in about 15 min. Secondary screen took 15 of waiting. The CBP officer was friendly and fast. Reminded us of requirement to marry in 90 days and AOS thereafter. Finished in 5 min. He welcomed her to the US with a smile...And she was officially on US soil. |

Everything went smoothly than I anticipated. We waited less than 10 minutes. We were ask if we have a set wedding date yet? And if we were aware that we should get marry within 90 days? |

Yes I can surely say life has been great to us! My wife and our 6yr old daughter are adjusting to life here in the States excellently. My wife and I also just had a beautiful baby girl in July. Both mommy and baby are doing great! That makes three cool women in my company!!! Furthermore, Baby Emily is growing so big already and talking me to endlessly! Hahah! And our daughter Emma is also doing great in school (1st grade!...). She is getting all S+ (the equivalent of all A+'s}. Emma's teacher can't stop saying nice things about her; and what a leader Emma is, both in and outside the classroom. We thank God for all the blessings and couldn't have been happier! Hope to update you soon!
Quick update:
Our second daughter, Emily, turns three this month. She's my best friend and our bond is so great! Emily is an exercise 'buff'! She loves to exercise and loves good food. Emma has consistently achieved all A+'s in school and will be in the fourth grade next school year. She also loves to exercise, good food and loves competing to be 'first' in my affection line. More importantly, my wife loves it here - she is back in school getting her Masters in Social Work. We have applied for citizenship for her and is in line for interview. Exactly the American Dream she waited eight (8) years for! Thus far the Lord has brought us. And to God be the glory!!!

Since the introduction of automated entry for the US citizens, the visa officers have a lot of time for Non immigrants, just give your packet and dont be too tensed, you've made it too far to be tensed. relax and get out! |
