Thousand Islands - Alexandria Bay crossing point. Agent initially said he could not endorse IR-1 visa because I was not moving that day - I was planning to return to Canada and then drive with all my stuff in a week. After he went to supervisor, he did endorse the visa. |

Had received CR-1 visa at Embassy in London. This was changed to IR-1 at POE. Could not apply for SSN at POE; had to go to SSA office in Los Angeles next day. Simple process there. |
