Courteous staff, although not overly chatty - probably because there were a lot of people passing through immigration at the same time. When I went to Secondary inspection, my fingerprints were taken using ink, and then the Immigration Officer just told me that the stamp in my passport validated the CR1 Visa so I could use it as ID, to get work etc while the Green Card was being mailed. After that, she just said "Any other questions?", and I was done! |

It took a while for someone to process our Visa because no one seemed to want to take the time. Eventually, a kind man decided to help us out. It took over an hour because we waited forever as we got passed over a few times by various immigration agents. That part was frustrating but the actual processing part was a breeze. |

My fiance's POE experience was very easy. He said was asked only if he promised to marry me...and if he had brought any carpets with him. LOL. He said everyone at JFK was very nice. They stamped his EAD for 90 days. |
