Newark POE wasn't bad. No lines at all. The only problem was a long wait in the immigration office. An hour of waiting felt like forever after a long flight. |

Very friendly and nice. Only took us less than 10 mins to go through the customs. |

Processing the visa took about 15 minutes or so. Artis had to fill out another form (thanks to being refused it on the plane) but otherwise, had no problems at all with the agent. All of the paperwork from the embassy was kept, including the medical exam.
Feb 2009: After fighting with the SSA, we found out the entry in INS' database was wrong (due to OCR issues with his I-94). Border Patrol at O'Hare was able to fix it luckily. Manual verification papers should be questioned to ensure that there are no errors in the database. |
