Very easy, just needed extra time to fill out the forms. The officer did ask two questions, 1) where did you meet your fiance? 2) Have you ever been in the U.S. before? If you are catching a connecting flight somewhere I would give yourself two hours to get through that process. BTW, if you try to bring dry beef jerky in from China they will take it(that was my only surprise)something about mad cow. |

Security was lovely; one of them even said "welcome home" to John, which I really appreciated.
Tip: make sure you get and complete white/blue U.S. customs forms (one for each of you) before you leave the plane. Air New Zealand neglected to give us these forms in flight, and we were left to scramble around POE and eventually nab them from an Air France flight attendant. |

Easy POE at Charlotte, NC. No issue, but it did take good hour and half from the time plane landed to get out of immigration. |

No problems at Atlanta, called to booth, handed over brown envelope with my passport and was then ushered into a side room to complete the process of immigration under K-1 Visa. Finger prints taken and was told I had 90 days to marry, received passport back and welcome to the USA! |
