I went up the lift and went to the window and handed my passport in and went in the heavy door. I took a number and sat down. My number was called and the lady asked me a few questions about why I added this paper and why didn't add that paper and said it is ok don't stress and don't get nervous.... Yeah right too late.... The lady told me to sit back down and wait. While I was waiting I heard the Interview of two other people and both didn't get approved so that made me more nervous. My number was called I had to got to window 2. The lady was wonderful. She didn't really ask me much about me she asked why we wanted to move back to the USA and I just said my husband wanted to go back "home" she said that was lovely. She then asked what my husband would do when he went back to the States and I told her what he does now and she said ok. Then she told me we didn't qualify for the poverty guidelines... We misunderstood the poverty line. I told her that was ok I could show her straight away that we had the amount that they needed. She gave me a 212g for the poverty guideline which I sent her the proof the next day and then within 1 week I had my visa. I have never been more scared in my life...not even getting married...this was more scary..lol I now have a lovely visa and I will get my 10 year green card when I enter the USA..yippee The Consulate lady was so nice and friendly 2019-01-15
