Approved 7/6/13 but received email confirming NOA2 on 7/25/13. On 7/26/13 received notice that approved petition was sent to DOS. Emailed DS230 on 8/2/13 received packet 4 via email on 8/5/13. Our process: 1. We received our NOA2 on a Thursday. By the next week Thursday we called DOS 202-663-1225 (on 9/9 this number changes to 202.485.7600) and got our case #. DOS is very nice and hold times are shorter than NVC. 2. I completed DS230-part 1 (pages 1&2) and emailed to fiance, he signed it. We sent an email FROM HIM with the Ds230 and requesting they please email us packet 3 & 4 if possible on that Friday , day after we got case number. (Check out my post: New electronic process for email format, I think I included that) 3. That Monday he went to get No-Impediment. And by the grace of God, we got our packet 4 via email that afternoon 1pm JA time. 4. The next day, He set doctor's appointment and prepared to go get his police certificate.( Fyi: No impediment & police certificate take about a week to 2 to receive). 5. Go online and get packet 3 and medical history form. Consisting of DS230-all parts, DS156, DS156K, DS157, I-134 and supporting docs. Ds156 is a barcoded form (again go to New Electronic Visa process topic). You'll need your fiance's TRN & Passport information. 6. I have 3 websites bookmarked: Ceac.state.gov - check status of our packet at US embassy in Kingston Usvisa-info.com/en-jm/self service/ss_country_welcome -- DHL registration & obtaining DHL tracking number post Issuance Www.DHL.com.Jim. -- this is for after approved interview to track your waybill 7. Interview & Post Interview: we brought everything that the Embassy Interview Checklist told us to provide. They took all DS forms and I134 along with 3 yrs tax transcripts, 4 paystubs, & employer letter. Also they took 3 months worth ofthe phone records. He received green aper stub with number on it. Ade and the kids were interviewed on 11-25-13 and was given a 221g for a DNA test on 2 of his 3 children. The CO only asked him 1. how and when we met? If we were already married?
