Bob587 Bob & Jen Canada Texas No Armenia 2020-01-07 2020-12-21 2021-10-14 2021-11-10 N/A My interview was at 8:45am and I arrived at 8:25. The security guard let me in early because the interview center wasn't at capacity yet. I would highly recommend trying to get there before your interview time. Even if they don't let you into the building, you'll reserve your spot in line and will wait a lot less on the back end. I left my phone in the lockers provided, went upstairs, took my ticket number, and waited until 9:30 until I was called to a desk. They asked for my birth certificate, marriage certificate, and spouse's 2020 tax return.I also was able to update my address and my spouse's address. I then sat down and waited another 10-15 minutes until I was called to another booth for the interview--which lasted about 7 minutes total. The kind officer asked pretty standard questions: -My spouse's name -Where and when we met -Which countries I've visited in the past 5 years -What I intend to do for work when I move -and a few other questions along those lines And that was it! He said he intended to approve my visa and gave me instructions for tracking my passport&visa in the mail. So my main advice is get there early if you can (15-20 minutes early). The process still took almost 90 minutes for me, but I would anticipate that it would take significantly longer with later appointment times. The room was at capacity (around 40 people) by about 9:15, and when I left around 10am, there were 3 or 4 people waiting outside. 2021-11-11
